BULLETINS/UPDATES
You just don’t know what it will be like when you get old. I’m going to tell you I’m not old only 39, but I feel my mess ups from my youth, a broken arm at 7, not so bad. Broke collar bone at 9 no way to tell right now. But let me tell you, everything since then is part of me, wakes up with me. Even when I stub my toe it hurts me from 9 years ago. The whole reason for me talking about this is simple. You think you’re indestructible. You might be one of the lucky 1’s who survive a car crash, or a losing fight with broken bones, but when you age, those things stand up and make you remember! How did I hurt that, when? When did that get bumped?… It didn’t! It’s just mother nature letting you know the definition of DELAYED REACTION! Oh my, My foot hurts. (Mother Nature speaking) “Oh yeah! That’s right you dumb ass! Remember that fight ten years ago?” or Damn my neck aches. “That’s what you deserve for trying to walk on your hands drunk in front of those girls” Life is too short, let me tell you. Do you think I like to wake up one day feeling 60%, then the next day 20%? It’s definitely not what I would choose as a day by day retinue, but through my own life mistakes,(not listening to the one’s who were telling me don’t do that!), I find my days growing longer and longer, and my sleep periods shorter and shorter. Why didn’t I listen to my Dad telling me, “Don’t crack your knuckles, Son, you will get arthritis from that”, or “Your hands and your feet are the most important parts of your body, aside from your insides” I didn’t listen, and I feel it now. I wish there was a way that these words would reach the ears of the young, and they would stick…Because oh what a short life we live, and we all only have so much of ourselves to give. Slow down, smell some flowers,…LOOK at the flowers. If your at least taking the time to enjoy nature, she won’t sneak up on you and say,” BOO!.”
